How to connect Slack:

  1. Navigate to the Integrations section in your EverCurrent app
  2. Click "Connect Slack"
  3. Authorize the connection through Slack's OAuth flow
  4. Your channels and users will automatically appear in the Slack page within your app

How it works:

  • Automatic notifications: Get notified in your designated Slack channels when important events occur, such as project updates, task completions, or design changes
  • Channel configuration: Choose which Slack channels receive notifications for specific projects or events in your app settings
  • Real-time updates: Team members receive instant Slack messages when relevant changes happen in connected projects, CAD files, or documentation
  • Comment notifications: When comments are added to projects or documents in EverCurrent, relevant team members are notified in Slack
  • Status updates: Project milestones, deadline reminders, and workflow status changes trigger Slack notifications to keep your team aligned

Customizing notifications:

  • Configure notification preferences in the Slack integration settings within your app
  • Select which types of events trigger Slack messages (updates, mentions, deadlines, etc.)
  • Map specific projects or workspaces to designated Slack channels
  • Team members can control their personal notification preferences

Video Conferencing

Zoom

Connect Zoom to EverCurrent to bring meeting details, recordings, and transcripts into your engineering workflows. Depending on the permissions you grant, EverCurrent can access your Zoom profile, retrieve meeting metadata and schedules, and surface authorized meeting recordings and transcripts inside the app.

Adding the app:

  1. Sign in to your EverCurrent account and open the Integrations section.
  2. Locate the Zoom integration and click "Connect Zoom".
  3. You will be redirected to Zoom to sign in and review the requested permissions (scopes).
  4. Click "Allow" to authorize EverCurrent to access your Zoom data.
  5. After authorization you will be returned to EverCurrent, and your Zoom account will appear as connected.

Usage:

Prerequisites: An active Zoom account and an EverCurrent account, with the Zoom integration authorized as described above.

  • View meetings and schedules: Browse your upcoming and past Zoom meetings and their metadata directly within EverCurrent to keep project timelines aligned.
  • Access recordings and transcripts: Open authorized meeting recordings and transcripts so design and engineering decisions captured in calls are linked to the relevant projects.
  • Summaries and search: Use Zoom transcripts to generate summaries and search across meeting content alongside your other connected tools.

Removing the app:

You can remove the EverCurrent integration at any time from your Zoom account:

  1. Sign in to the Zoom App Marketplace.
  2. Click Manage in the top-right corner, then select Added Apps.
  3. Find the "EverCurrent" app and click Remove.
  4. Confirm removal in the dialog to deauthorize the app.

Implications of removal: Removing the app revokes EverCurrent's access to your Zoom account, and we will no longer be able to retrieve new meeting data, recordings, or transcripts on your behalf.

How your data is handled: When you remove the app, Zoom sends EverCurrent a deauthorization notification. Upon receiving it, EverCurrent revokes the associated access token and deletes the Zoom data we stored for your account. To request confirmation or expedited deletion, contact info@evercurrent.ai.

Troubleshooting:

  • Authorization fails or loops: Make sure you are signed in to the correct Zoom account, then retry "Connect Zoom" from the Integrations section.
  • Missing recordings or transcripts: Confirm the recordings exist in Zoom and that you granted the recording/transcript permissions during authorization. Re-authorizing the app refreshes granted scopes.
